I designed and developed the full Shopify website for The Redheaded Jeweler, a handcrafted jewelry shop selling affordable pieces for women who want to look and feel beautiful. I was provided with their previous website, a WooCommerce design with several functionality errors, and I worked with the client to build the new website from the ground up. This involved a visual identity, voice, and user experience that reflected the brand’s handcrafted, intentional energy.
Beyond the website, I also set up the email marketing for The Redheaded Jeweler, provided custom code solutions to automate certain tasks. and developed an ongoing marketing strategy to increase sales.
Goal
To redesign and rebuild The Redheaded Jeweler’s website into a calm, intuitive Shopify experience that reflected the brand’s handcrafted, intentional ethos—while fixing the functionality issues of the previous WooCommerce site. The goal was to create a platform that felt warm and trustworthy, made shopping effortless, and supported long-term growth through an improved conversion-focused structure.
Approach
I migrated the site from WooCommerce to Shopify and rebuilt it from the ground up, addressing both technical issues and brand alignment. The focus was on creating a clean visual identity that highlighted the jewelry without overwhelming the customer, while simplifying navigation and the purchasing flow.
I worked closely with the client to refine brand voice, product presentation, and site structure. We ensured each collection felt intentional from top to bottom.
I used Shopify’s custom Liquid for the majority of the website to accommodate the requests of my client. These updates streamlined operations, reduced friction, and eliminated prior functionality errors.
Beyond the website itself, I also implemented email marketing systems and custom code solutions to automate processes and support ongoing sales efforts.
Results
The final website delivered a stable, cohesive, and conversion-friendly Shopify storefront that aligned with The Redheaded Jeweler’s brand values and business goals. Key outcomes included:
