Brand Identity, Website Design & Website Development

PocketPortfolios is a mock finance app concept designed to make personalized investing and financial planning more accessible for everyday users. For this project, I created the full brand identity, designed the website layout, and developed the entire platform from scratch. The concept targets a Gen Z and Millennial demographic with a bold, modern aesthetic and simplified UX that mimics what users expect from fintech startups.

The result is a sleek, conversion-focused site built on WordPress that reflects the brand’s bold personality while clearly communicating trust and usability.

Goal

To develop a high-impact, modern website for a finance platform that feels approachable, trustworthy, and youth-focused. A website that turns complex financial services into something simple, visual, and empowering.

Approach

I began by designing a visual identity around bold neons, clean sans-serif typography, and modern UI elements to reflect a fresh take on finance. I incorporated bright data visuals, mobile mockups, and scroll-based animations to guide users through the site with ease. Each section, from the hero to the value proposition, was written and designed to appeal to users looking for control over their money without a premium price tag.

I also structured the content around clear onboarding steps (“As Easy As 1-2-3”), real-life benefits (“The PocketPortfolios Difference”), and direct calls to action. The layout and copy together help build user confidence while keeping the experience fun and digestible.

Results

The finished site simulates a functional fintech product and positions PocketPortfolios as a tech-savvy, customer-first solution. Key features include:

  • A polished homepage with branded illustrations

  • Clear onboarding flow and service explanations

  • A value-driven service section that emphasizes ease of use and real advisors

  • Responsive design optimized for mobile

  • Fully branded assets including logo, color palette, and typography system
