Matt’s Professional Chef Services

I designed and developed a complete website for Matt’s private chef business to give him a professional online presence, showcase his services, and make it easier for potential clients to book directly.

Beyond the website itself, I built a fully custom booking experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with Supabase powering the backend. The goal was to create something that looked polished on the front end while also giving Matt a functional system that could support real inquiries and bookings behind the scenes.

Since launching the site, Matt has been found by new clients through the website, received referrals from outside his immediate market, and even landed his highest-paying client to date through the new site. 

Matt needed more than a good-looking website. He needed an online presence that made his services feel professional, helped potential clients understand what he offered, and gave people an easy path from discovering him to actually reaching out or booking.

The goal was to create a site that could:

– Showcase the quality and experience behind his work
– Build trust with potential clients
– Make booking simple and intuitive
– Give him a stronger presence in search
– Turn website traffic into real business opportunities

I designed the website around Matt’s high-end, personalized approach to private dining. The visual direction uses strong food photography, clean layouts, elevated typography, and clear calls to action so visitors can quickly understand the experience he offers.

From a development standpoint, I built the website with usability and conversion in mind, making sure the experience worked smoothly across desktop and mobile.

The booking system was built from scratch using:
HTML for the booking structure and form experience
CSS for custom styling and responsive design
JavaScript for form logic, interactions, and functionality
Supabase as the backend for storing and managing booking data

Rather than relying on a generic third-party booking widget, the system was designed specifically around Matt’s business and the information he needs from potential clients.

I also structured the website content to make his services easy to understand and created clear conversion paths throughout the site so visitors are never left wondering what to do next.

The website became more than a digital portfolio for Matt. It started generating real opportunities.

After launch:
